Poncho Mexican Street Food is a food truck with a difference. It delivers authentic Mexican cuisine all over Victoria, using fresh locally grown produce. Catering for 200 events a year the motivation to cater is driven by the charity Poncho supports – 4Tk Australia.
4Tk is a not-for-profit organisation that cares for disadvantaged and at-risk youth. Based in Ringwood in the eastern suburbs, 4Tk operates a youth facility and delivers programs to engage youth, including a pre-employment training program.
The Founder of 4Tk – Ricky Hall, was a chef and his expertise has now turned to Mexican Food – with much success.
I have worked with Carissa and the team at Poncho twice now for two separate corporate events. Holy guacamole, they run things like clockwork. Council permits, event set up, the food is 11/10 and the whole team have the best energy. And - that’s not all – Poncho is a charity supporting disadvantaged local kids. We love the cause and look forward to working with Poncho again at our next event.
